This video is an introduction to the NASA Lunar and Meteorite Sample Disk Program. The program is designed for K-12 classroom teachers and educators who work in K-12 schools, museums, libraries, or planetariums. Educators can be certified to borrow the Lunar and Meteorite Sample Disks by attending a certification workshop provided by a NASA Authorized Certifier. Certification workshops are designed to help educators understand planetary processes related to these samples including accretion, differentiation, volcanism, and impact processes. Participants are also trained in the proper handling and security requirements when borrowing the disks.
